Written by Grasshopper Mower | Jun 15, 2020

You've done your research, narrowed down your options, and now, the last leg of your mower shopping marathon is here. It's time to demo. But, before you jump straight to it, you might be wondering what to expect. Don't worry, we've got you covered.

The Before

First, your demo experience will start with a debrief and conversation. Get ready for a crash course on your mower and its controls, attachments, features and performance. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Now is your chance to inspect the mower and learn why a Grasshopper is right for your property, so don't hold back.

Demo Time

Your dealer or sales rep will start by showing you the ropes, allowing you to get familiar with the mower and its controls. We'll show you different features and teach you more about how a Grasshopper functions and the work we put in on our end to make sure you get the best cut on yours.

Your Turn

Time to learn what the hype is all about. As you begin your test drive, don't be afraid to take your time. Notice the comfortable seat, arm rests and sensitive, adjustable controls. The solid, all-steel construction. Take note of the deck type. With the FrontMountâ„¢, you can weave seamlessly in and out of obstacles for an all-around even cut. For less land, a MidMountâ„¢ provides a quality cut and a smooth ride. All these factors help you find the right model for you and your workload. Be sure to ask any questions that may arise as you test the mower.

The After

Once your test drive is finished ask any follow-up questions you might have based on your demo experience and request a quote from your dealer or sales rep. And, if you want to test out some more Grasshopper equipment, arrange another demo with your dealer or sales rep before they leave.

While every demo is different, the basics are all the same. Get the most out of your next Grasshopper demo by coming prepared and ready to ride.
