If you’re looking for a new mower and want to choose from the best zero-turn riding lawn mowers available, you’ve come to the right place. Grasshopper commercial mowers deliver carpet-like cuts and are built to last, thanks to features like Grasshopper GrassMax™ blades, 5.5-inch-deep cutting decks, Sentry™ spindle guards, and double-layered US steel decks. Choose between a classic side-discharge deck and innovative DuraMax® Rear Discharge™ deck that’s available for most models. You could also add an optional PowerVac™ Collection System or Down Discharge™ Mulching Package.

With a Grasshopper True ZeroTurn™ FrontMount mower, the cutting deck is positioned in front of the operator’s seat. That front deck mower configuration allows for mowing under obstacles like fences, shrubs, and low-hanging trees. It also enables the Grasshopper-exclusive PowerFold® Electric Deck Lift to effortlessly raise the deck to a near vertical position at the touch of a switch for easy underside maintenance and space-saving storage. The same switch is also used to adjust the cutting height. FrontMount mowers also feature a three- to six-wheel power unit, depending on the model. The longer wheelbase provides for the smoothest-riding zero-turn mower you’ll find.
The 729T is powered by a 29-hp Kubota® gas engine. The 16cc T-Drive™ runs directly off of the engine, which reduces wear since there are no belts. This model is also shaft-driven for enhanced power conversion to the deck, and easier conversion from mower deck to any number of Grasshopper attachments. Choose from a 52-, 61- or 72-inch deck. Optional features include Grasshopper’s Speed-Trimming™ roller kit and Grammer suspension seat.

Grasshopper True ZeroTurn™ MidMount mowers feature a four-wheel power unit with the cutting deck mounted under the operator’s seat. With speeds up to 11 mph, Grasshopper’s MidMount is a fast zero-turn mower that’s made for high-capacity mowing applications. A 12-gallon fuel tank allows for all-day mowing. Plus, it’s positioned under the seat for enhanced center of gravity and hillside stability. A three-piece SmartFrame™ provides smooth operation, while strategically placed ISO mounts further reduce vibration.
The 440B comes with either a 61- or 72-inch deck. It’s powered by a 40-hp Vanguard® EFI ETC engine that allows for better control of engine RPMs, which is helpful when mowing thick grass. Powerful 21cc HydroGear® pumps enable longer machine life. Other standard features include QuikAjust Tilt™ levers, a Grammer suspension seat, hydraulic cutting height adjustment, a double-rail rear bumper, LED work lights, and a USB port. A 26-inch turf tire is also standard, with the option of choosing a Tweel® airless drive tire.

Grasshopper V Series mowers are designed with a more compact wheelbase so you can mow in tighter spaces, but are still big on productivity. The V Series includes a variety of MidMount and FrontMount mowers that offer many of the same commercial-duty features found on larger Grasshopper mowers. That’s why V Series models are still backed by a full commercial warranty.
Available with either a 52- or 61-inch deck, the 127V MidMount mower is powered by a 27-hp Briggs & Stratton® CXi V-Twin engine. A Parker HT Series transmission is fully integrated for a smoother ride and enhanced maneuverability. Optional features include Grasshopper’s Speed-Trimming™ roller kit, a side-discharge control kit, DuraFlex™ suspension forks, a foot pedal extension for smaller operators, and LED work lights.

Sleek in stature, OutStander® Stand-On mowers provide enhanced maneuverability, quick on/off, and enhanced operator visibility—offering an outstanding alternative to sit-down mowers. Grasshopper OutStander® Stand-On mowers feature a unique Command Center Tower that is adjustable up/down through a range of 4.5 inches to maximize operator comfort. Additionally, the deck, engine, and transmission all move together, helping to reduce belt slippage and wear. Maintenance is further simplified because the battery and transmission are easily accessed by simply lifting up the pad at the rear of the machine.
With the choice of a 61- or 72-inch deck, Grasshopper’s SO37 is a larger companion to the already popular SO26. The SO37 is powered by a 37-hp Vanguard EFI ETC engine, which is the perfect match for mowing in thick grass. Additionally, this larger stand-on mower features a 16cc T-Drive transmission, a step up from the 12cc version found on the SO26. Large 26-inch drive tires, dual fuel tanks, LED work lights, and a USB port are standard.
